Here's a real simple upgrade for of all places, the trunk. One bulb does not put out much light. Then how about two? Look where the factory one mounts--then look at the passenger side--hey identical hole to mount another light? But the lights are discontinued--here and there, they are showing up on E-Bay.

Two ways to do this:

1. Just mount the light like the other side, cut the mercury switch out and splice directly into the wiring of the existing light before the mercury switch. You may need extra wire and those splice connectors available at places like Ace Hardware make it easy.

2. Mount the light like the other side, drill a hole in the identical location as the other side into the trunk hinge--note, install exactly like the other side, because if you don't the mercury switch won't work properly. And then run a wiring to the connection.

Option 1 is easier. Got this idea off of E-Bay, but a great way to light up the trunk better.
